But one organization is pursuing an innovative approach, which it says could bring hope to the most hopeless of situations: the Global Peace Foundation (GPF).
The GPF’s initiative, called «Peace is Possible,» emphasizes the combination of strategic and community-based actions, tapping into the power of both grassroots and high-level partnerships to bring lasting peace to countries that have been devastated by war. At its core, the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between civil society and the governmental institutions that are responsible for maintaining peace and order.
